The reliability of CAVEL products is guaranteed: by the selection of the most qualified raw material suppliers in ensuring the quality of the product and service; from the use of the most advanced scientific equipment for the study, development, testing and production of semi-finished and finished products; From the achievement of the certification of the company quality system since 30 April 1996, subsequently updated to the various subsequent revisions of the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard. Production
*Italian Conductors * has constantly updated the production equipment and the related control and testing equipment to ensure the highest quality of the products. We made a large investment in new equipment, moving from the dielectric’s chemical expansion technology to the inert (nitrogen) gas (nitrogen) expansion technology in the mid-1990s. We continue to commit ourselves to the technological updating of the plants!
Laboratory checks
Since its establishment, Italiana Conductors srl has an equipped laboratory, able to measure the main electrical and mechanical parameters of the cable. Periodically the equipment is updated and includes, among the main ones, the following equipment: capacitance meters, network analyzers, milliohmeters, TDRs, dynamometers. The lab is also equipped with triaxial pipes to perform shielding measurements on the cable and climatic chambers for aging tests. All the equipment sensitive for quality purposes is periodically checked and recalibrated by external certified bodies.
