Art. 135 law 164/2014Rules for the digital infrastructure of buildings:

1. All new buildings for which building permit applications are submitted after 1 July 2015 must be equipped with aMulti-service physical infrastructurepassiveinside the building, consisting of adequate installation spaces andFiber Optic High Speed Communication Systemsup to the network end points. The same obligation applies, starting from 1 July 2015, in the case of works that require the issue of a building permit pursuant to Article 10, paragraph 1, letter c). By multi-service physical infrastructure inside the building we mean the complex of installations present inside buildings containing wired fiber optic access networks with fixed or wireless terminations that allow access to ultra-broadband services and connect the access point of the building with the network end point.

2. All new buildings for which building permit applications are submitted after 1 July 2015 must be equipped with an access point. The same obligation applies, starting from 1 July 2015, in the case of profound restructuring works that require the issue of a building permit pursuant to Article 10.
